Holly's experience working with the public and providing service started at the age of 14. During her high school years she was employed by a traveling petting zoo and pony ride company that were contracted for birthday parties, holiday celebrations and other special events. After high school Holly worked in child care at Angel Babies and Sweet Pea Learning Center, located in Cedar Creek, she went to evening classes earning her certification to become a Registered Dental Assistant. Upon receiving her certification with top honors, she took a position at a cutting edge periodontal office as a surgical assistant In Bee Caves, Texas. A few years in, Holly and husband welcomed their son Bryden, and the decision was made for Holly to stay home, but that didn't last long, the staying at home was not for her, she went back to child care where she could still be with Bryden but also interacting with the public. In 2010 an opportunity presented for Holly and her sister, Betty to buy out a newly established child care center. In January of 2010 Holly and Betty took ownership and re branded the center Lil Texans Childcare Center. This allowed for both Holly and Betty to provide and be involved in their children's early development. During this Holly also worked part time at The Renegade Trail Head located at the Hyatt Lost Pines as a skeet and archery instructor during corporate events. The center remained open for the next five years, as their own children got established in elementary school and the lease owner made the decision to increase rent substantially, the girls made the choice to move on. A chance run in with a cousin lead to talks of the center closing, in conversation Holly's mother said to the the cousin, " I have always told Holly she needs to be in legal field, it just seems that's where she would excel" She connected Holly with an attorney who was in need. One week later she was sitting in a downtown Bastrop law firm discussing duties and schedule. Since 2015 Holly has been in the legal industry in some aspect and has worked with and for some great mentors along the way.
