Why Republican?

I chose to run as a Republican because my values align with common sense, accountability, and service over politics.

The District Clerk’s office isn’t about ideology—it’s about doing the job right. Republicans believe government should be efficient, transparent, fiscally responsible, and limited to what it’s supposed to do. That’s exactly how I believe the Clerk’s office should operate.

I believe in:

Respecting taxpayer dollars and not wasting money on delays, excuses, or mismanagement

Accountability from leadership, not passing blame or resisting change

Local control, where decisions are made by people who actually work in and understand the community

Public service over politics, where the office serves judges, attorneys, staff, and residents—fairly and consistently

As a Republican, I believe government employees work for the people, not the other way around. That means showing up, being involved, supporting staff with training and leadership, and making sure systems actually work.

This race isn’t about party labels—it’s about values, work ethic, and responsibility. Running as a Republican reflects my belief that government should be practical, transparent, and accountable to the people it serves.

I don’t agree with every idea held by any political party. But when it comes to elected officials, I believe Republican principles of accountability, fiscal responsibility, and limited government best align with how an office like District Clerk should be run.
